Another part of this job is making pictures to preview benefits for families with sick children. This is not as depressing as it sounds-- every time I shoot one of these I get a reminder of the resilience of families in the face of difficulty. Here, a mother holds her 12 week old son, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome, while a woman from evaluates the muscle tone in his face.
