What I Did Today

So many plums. Dozens of pounds. Harvested the hops. Took pictures. Coffee. Park with the dog. Homemade mac and cheese. Later, shower. Then tomatoes and wine. Then sleep. God bless vacation. Some of you have been asking what I'm doing in the fall. I'm lucky to be joining the amazing staff of the Virginian-Pilot at the end of this month for my first- gasp- newspaper staff job. I'm so excited. Until then, it's plums and more plums.

I'm so happy for you! It's hard to imagine the Pilot rocking more than it already does, but that's a reality we'll soon be seeing.
